The US Water Alliance staff draws on cross-sector experience from diverse disciplines to advance a one water future.
Radhika Fox is the Chief Executive Officer of the US Water Alliance, a national nonprofit organization advancing policies and programs that build a sustainable water future for all. The Alliance educates the nation on the value of water, accelerates the adoption of one water policies and programs, and celebrates innovation in water management. Alliance membership includes water providers, public officials, business leaders, environmental organizations, community leaders, policy organizations, and more. The Alliance also coordinates the Value of Water Campaign, a national campaign driven by leadership across the water sector, dedicated to raising awareness about the nation’s aging water infrastructure. In her roles as CEO of the Alliance and Director of the Value of Water Campaign, Radhika is a sought-after expert for media covering water issues.
In addition to her leadership at the US Water Alliance, Radhika serves on the board of PolicyLink, a national non-profit focused on creating sustainable communities of opportunity that allow everyone to participate and prosper. She also currently serves as a Health Equity Fellow at PolicyLink, as a part of a cohort of innovative and influential leaders from various sectors to engage with and advance systemic solutions for health equity.
Radhika has over 20 years of experience in developing policies, programs, and issue-based advocacy campaigns. Radhika previously directed the policy and government affairs agenda for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, which is responsible for providing 24/7 water, wastewater, and municipal power services to 2.6 million Bay Area residents. She also served as the Federal Policy Director at PolicyLink, where she coordinated the organization’s policy agenda on a wide range of issues, including infrastructure investment, transportation, sustainable communities, economic inclusion, and workforce development. She holds a B.A. from Columbia University and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from the University of California at Berkeley where she was a HUD Community Development Fellow.
Megan Demit is a Program Associate at the US Water Alliance. She supports the One Water Summit and a range of other projects for the Alliance. Megan is a recent graduate of College of the Holy Cross where she earned a degree in sociology. She has previously lived in Atlanta and is originally from the Boston area, but just recently moved to San Francisco and is excited to start exploring the city.
Emily Feenstra is a Deputy Director of the US Water Alliance. In this capacity see oversees a diverse portfolio of projects and manages partnerships with Alliance members and supporters to advance one water management in America.
Prior to joining the US Water Alliance, Emily was the Director of Infrastructure Initiatives and Public Affairs at the American Society of Civil Engineers. In that role she led policy and advocacy initiatives for the American Society of Civil Engineers, including ASCE’s Report Card for America’s Infrastructure, the Failure to Act economic study series, and other reports designed to influence infrastructure policy. She also directed the media relations team for the 145,000-member Society. Prior to ASCE, Emily held senior positions at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America and as a consultant for the Washington State Department of Transportation. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Washington.
Abigail Gardner serves as the Communications Director for the Value of Water Campaign and the US Water Alliance. She handles press requests and media relations on behalf of the Campaign and the Alliance.
For more than a decade, Abigail has worked with communications and media at the intersection of politics, campaigns, and advocacy. Prior to her work with Value of Water and the Alliance, Abigail was a Vice President at SKDKnickerbocker, where she served as a communications consultant for several political candidates, issue advocacy campaigns, and clients in need of crisis-management. During her time at SKDK, she developed a specialty in the transportation and infrastructure space. She also served in the official office of Congressman Dan Maffei (D-NY) and Governor Eliot Spitzer and worked on several political campaigns before joining SKDKnickerbocker. Abigail is a graduate of the University of Virginia and a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a city famous for its three rivers.
Madison Heuston is a Communications Associate for the US Water Alliance, where she assists with media relations and leads social and digital media outreach.
Before joining the Alliance, she interned in the Washington, D.C. office of public affairs firm SKDKnickerbocker. During college, she completed internships with Brooklyn-based music and lyrics website Genius and PPG Industries' government affairs team in Pittsburgh. A native Pittsburgher, Madison graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a degree in political science and economics.
Danielle Mayorga is a Program Manager overseeing a range of initiatives at the US Water Alliance. Danielle is primarily responsible for implementing the three-year strategic roadmap for the Value of Water Campaign, an industry initative dedicated to building public and political will for water infrastructure investment. In addition, she coordinates projects such as the National Blue Ribbon Commission on Distributed Non-Potable Water Systems and An Equitable Water Future.
Danielle joins the Alliance after serving three years as a Policy Analyst at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, where she helped advance the agency’s legislative agenda at the local, state and federal levels, and supported strategic policy development on issues such as capital infrastructure programs, rate setting, and community and economic benefits. Prior to entering the water sector, Danielle worked on education policy. Danielle has Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Language, Culture & Society from University of California, Santa Barbara. In her spare time, she enjoys running along San Francisco’s many waterfronts.
Fiona Murray is a Program Manager for the US Water Alliance. She coordinates fund development and membership for the Alliance and manages its One Water Summit.
Prior to joining the Alliance, Fiona was a Senior Associate & Events Coordinator at Molly Allen Associates LLC where she managed the DC fundraising programs for three Members of Congress and coordinated the firm's entire events program of over 200 events per year. Previously she was a member of congressional fundraising teams across the state of New York, and was the Finance Director on a congressional campaign in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 2012. Fiona is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She is a proud native of Upstate New York.
Zoë Roller is a Program Manager with the US Water Alliance. She is primarily focused on An Equitable Water Future, an initiative exploring the intersection of water management and disadvantaged communities.
Zoë’s background is in international development and city planning. She spent three years managing community development projects in Rio de Janeiro’s favelas, addressing issues that included food security, environmental justice, violence reduction, public health, and education. Zoë worked with the Centre for Urban and Regional Excellence as a USAID Global Development Fellow, creating a sustainable water management plan for a slum in Delhi. She holds a Master’s degree in City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. When she is not thinking about water infrastructure, Zoë enjoys boxing and reading science fiction.
Suzi Warren is a Program Associate for the US Water Alliance. She supports the One Water Hub initiative and special projects for the Alliance.
Previously, Suzi worked at the U.S. Green Building Council managing local membership and volunteer programs. She has a background in sustainability and green buildings with a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is passionate about environmental conservation and moving the industry towards a one water future. Suzi hails from the great state of Colorado and enjoys long runs along the National Mall.
